Thank you for registering for the Duchenne Dash 2025!
Here is all you need to help you get ready for it - from training resources and information about the route, to support with fundraising.
The Duchenne Dash is an epic challenge. 300km in 24 hours is not easy but you can do it. To get the most out of your ride and ensure you have the most enjoyable experience, it’s important to train beforehand.
We’ve created a training guide. Make sure to download it and give it a good read, it has all the information you need to get ready for your Dash – bike maintenance, a training programme, getting up to speed and more.
Dash sponsor and ride captain, Will Pearson, is running two cycling skills sessions on the 15 March and 26 April 2025. The sessions are free and invaluable – we highly recommend that you book at least one session. Find out what they will cover and how to register below.
Rider training videos. Ride Captain and veteran Dasher Robin Strong has made some films to help you prepare for your Dash
A balanced diet is essential for good health and getting the right nutrients and fluid will support your Dash journey. This is why we have created this comprehensive nutrition guide, giving you tips on what to consume pre-, during and post-ride. This guide will provide you with all the info you need on how to fuel your ride for optimum results, so please make sure to download it and give it a good read.
The Dash is not only an epic physical challenge, but a fundraising one. We thank you for committing to raise £4,200. Money raised by the Dash allows us to continue our fight to end Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) by funding research into new treatments and drug trials, ground-breaking technology, and projects like DMD Care UK which ensures everyone with DMD gets the best standard of care, no matter where they live.
The total can seem daunting but we’re here to help. We’ve created a fundraising pack that is your one-stop-shop for all things Dash fundraising. It’s packed with important information and helpful tips and ideas to boost donations. Make sure to download it and give it a good read.
If you are fundraising overseas, we recommend that you open a JustGiving page. If you have any queries about fundraising overseas, please contact the team on [email protected].
To meet your fundraising goal, it’s important to let people know what you’re doing and why! Share your Dash story with family, friends, your professional network and local community. Get the story out there and ask people to donate to your Dash.
We’ve created a communications pack to help you promote your Dash with template posts for social media and information about press opportunities. There is also a suite of graphics for you to use on social media. When posting, make sure you tag us @duchennedash and use #DuchenneDash2025 #EndDuchenne so that we can like and share!
You can also share photos from the Duchenne Dash 2024 and the Dash 2024 look-back video.
Stay in touch! We want to hear all about how you’re getting on with training. Why not join our Dash Facebook group and keep us in the loop. Plus you can connect with your fellow Dashers and get inside advice and tips from our veterans.
