Tri4Duchenne

Tri4Duchenne was set up by Alex & Justine Latham after their son was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy in 2015

A 2 year old boy called Jamie, inspired more than one hundred and fifty mums, dads, teachers and family to complete their first Triathlon in 2015. Some of them couldn’t swim yet, many lacked even a bike, all of them needed to train intensively to attempt the challenge. But the result was a phenomenal £350,000 funds raised for research into treating Duchenne. The journey continues and this year they are back for more with another Triathlon.

If you are interested in taking part in the 2016 edition, you can read more about the event here.
