My lovely godson Eli, is 9. He can no longer walk up the stairs, he can't run any more, and he can't play his beloved football. Little by little his muscles are dying.
While my children, his friends, grow stronger, bigger and more independent, Eli is growing weaker and weaker. His future will see him in a wheelchair, using a respirator, and eventually in his 20s, will lead to total paralysis and death.
We can change this future by funding scientific research. Big advances are being made, many of them instigated or supported by Duchenne UK. We are running out of time for Eli. Please give generously and give him a better and longer future.
