In 2021, our whole world came crashing down, our gorgeous son JJ was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a life-limiting genetic disorder that causes progressive muscle weakness and loss.

As a family, we were and continue to be devastated by this news, but we are also committed to doing everything we can to support JJ and contribute to the fight against DMD. JJ is a 6-year-old with a vibrant personality, zest for life and has the sweetest soul. He loves spending time with his family, especially his little sister Gracie, playing with his toys, swimming and relaxing on his iPad. Despite the challenges he faces he inspires us every day with his courage and resilience.

DMD is a severe condition that currently has no cure. The journey ahead is fraught with medical treatments, therapies, and numerous adjustments to our daily lives. We are determined to provide JJ with the best care possible, and we also want to contribute to research efforts that could lead to a cure for DMD. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to our goal.
