Mumsnet Campaign: Join us to End Duchenne
Robyn is a mother to Felix, one of the World’s Strongest Boys.
Robyn became involved with Duchenne UK after reaching out following her sons diagnosis. When Robyn met with Emily and Alex, Co-founders of Duchenne UK, it was clear that they all had the same determination; they would not to accept the sentence handed to their children.
Robyn has a background within the film industry, so she helps Duchenne UK with film content. Robyn has also run a half marathon to fundraise for Duchenne UK and her whole family get involved with the charity. Robyn's husband, Alasdair, is on both the Patient and Scientific Advisory Boards for Duchenne UK.
In Robyn’s video she discusses her son's diagnosis and the impact of the disease on their family life. It's a devastating situation but, rather than just accept it, Robyn, her son and her whole family resolved to fight it.
Felix lives with the determination and energy that all of the World’s Strongest Boys share. With your help, we can save them.
