Utrophin modulation - SMT C1100
HAVE WE EVER FUNDED OR CO FUNDED SMTC110?
OR IS OUR ONLY FUNDING THE SMALL MOLECULE FUNDING ALREADY ON THE SITE?
We have been working with Professor Kay Davies of Oxford University, one of the foremost Duchenne scientists in the world, since we began. She has been working on DMD for over 20 years.
What is utrophin?
Her investigation involve the study of a protein similar to dystrophin called utrophin. She is researching to discover if increasing utrophin levels can help with the treatment of Duchenne. This therapy would be appropriate to all patients despite their mutation.
We are co funding this research (who with) The initial drug concerned is SMT C1100.
