New Horizons conference

We are excited to be holding a new conference for the Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) community in London from 1-2 March 2024.

Called New Horizons, the conference is for parents, family members and caregivers, and those working to help people with DMD.

It will include updates on the latest news and guidance on managing DMD to make sure you have the most up-to-date information.

It will also give you an opportunity to meet and connect with other people affected by DMD.

There will be sessions on:

Friday PM

  • Session for families whose children have been newly diagnosed with DMD
  • The latest care guidance for people with DMD
  • The psychosocial aspects of living with DMD

Saturday AM

  • The latest DMD treatments

Saturday PM

  • Supporting children with DMD at school
  • Current DMD research
  • New technology to help people with DMD and a demonstration of the SMART Suit

Special travel grant for DMD families

We are offering a travel grant to DMD families who live outside of the M25.

We are offering £150 per family and funds will be issued post-event.
