Rabobank and Duchenne UK – A partnership built on determination
In 2024, Duchenne UK welcomed a remarkable new corporate partner: Rabobank.
Their support began with a deeply personal connection. When Luca, the son of Rabobank employee David Mulroy, was diagnosed with Duchenne, the team rallied behind the cause with energy and creativity.
Rabobank didn’t just donate – they found inventive ways to make a difference.
From selling office furniture and giving the proceeds to Duchenne UK, to 26 team members running the Royal Parks Half Marathon, their commitment wasinspiring.
David and his wife Lindsey went even further, cycling the Duchenne Dash twice, joined by Rabobank colleagues each time.
Their efforts didn’t stop there. Rabobank also backed Duchenne UK through the Big Give Christmas Challenge, providing match funding that doubled donations and amplified impact.
By the end of 2025, this incredible partnership had raised over £200,000– a sum that will help fund vital research, improve care, and bring hope to families affected by Duchenne.
